No case of Covid on the last tests, as long as it lasts

The protocol put in place by the NBA to fight against Covid-19 is quite cumbersome, all its players agree in saying this. But at least this one is producing real results. The league announced Wednesday, before the night’s meetings, that no player had tested positive for Covid-19 during the past week.

We are still talking about 495 people who travel across the country almost daily. There were of course a few gaps, especially among the Houston Rockets, but the players generally respect the recommendations with a lot of application. It is at this price that the season can unfold more or less normally in terms of schedule.

COVID-19 is already raging: Thunder-Rockets postponed!

As for the public’s feedback, we are obviously not there yet. Some rooms are already welcoming a few fans, but the health situation in the United States and the fact that vaccination is still in its infancy, does not yet allow a return to normal.

After a first battery of tests with 48 positive players for Covid-19, the following ones revealed only two, then a single positive case. Provided that the zero point becomes a weekly tradition.
