Plzeň Regional Court Hears Case Involving Healer Accused of Rape
A trial at the Plzeň Regional Court has brought forward serious criminal charges against a man who worked as a massage therapist and alternative practitioner. Prosecutor Martin Rykl told the court that the defendant, identified in court records as Housar, repeatedly sexually assaulted a girl under the guise of alternative therapy between June 2016 and November 2017. According to the indictment, the accused touched the underage girl’s naked body, kissed her, inserted a finger into her vagina, and masturbated over her while assuring her that the actions were for her own good and that he was treating her.
Defendant Denies Allegations While Acknowledging Intimate Practices with Other Clients
Testifying before the court, Housar categorically denied the charges related to the teenager. “I didn’t even touch that girl,” he stated during the proceedings, adding that he was never alone with the schoolgirl for even a second and that her mother always accompanied her and observed the sessions. However, the defendant’s own testimony revealed that he performed invasive physical procedures on other female clients seeking fertility help. Housar admitted that he manipulated the reproductive organs of women who could not conceive, stating that he worked with two fingers inside the vagina to clear ovaries, fallopian tubes, and the cervix. He claimed all clients consented to these methods and asserted that the treatments helped lead to the birth of approximately 200 children. Regarding the complainant, he claimed the case was entirely fabricated because she disliked him after he criticized the boys she liked and her peer group.
Mother Recalls Seeking Relief for Daughter’s Pain
The victim’s mother testified that she initially brought her daughter to the practitioner because he had previously helped her alleviate severe physical pain. While the mother stated she was present only during the first visit, she noticed a shift in the teenager’s demeanor afterward. “At first, she got relief and it was good. Then she didn’t go there as much. She started to be taciturn and closed off,” the mother told the court. Both parents testified that their daughter disclosed the abuse much later. The mother recalled thinking she would go crazy upon hearing the revelation, adding that she never would have brought her child to the practitioner had she known. The father stated that he noticed gradual behavioral changes in his daughter and had wanted to report the situation to the police, but agreed to respect her initial wish to forget and keep the matter private until she gave consent to take legal action.
Alternative Therapy Methods and Claims of Demonic Possession
During the court hearings, details emerged regarding the diagnostic and therapeutic methods Housar employed during sessions. In addition to physical massages, the defendant discussed psychological issues with the teenager, claiming she was burdened by negative energy. “She had a demon in her. A being she communicated with,” the defendant told the court, describing how he advised her on how to behave and ignore the dark force. He maintained that his physical contact was restricted to placing his hands on her abdomen, lower abdomen, kidneys, back, and neck rather than intimate areas. Housar rejected the title of healer, preferring to describe himself as a massager who aligned chakras and cleared inflammation and negative energy by laying hands on affected areas.
Tragic Aftermath Prior to Planned Police Filing
Testimony during the trial revealed that the teenager decided to file a formal criminal complaint alongside her parents just weeks before her death. The father broke down in court, explaining that the filing never took place because the schoolgirl died by suicide. “I owe it to her. I don’t want such things, if they happened, to be repeated,” the father concluded. The Plzeň Regional Court proceedings continue as judges weigh the testimony of the parents, the statements of the accused, and the formal charges brought by the prosecution.
