Migration Timeline and Technical Compatibility for Subscribers

Existing Sky X customers will undergo an automated account migration process over the coming days. Users can access the new Wow application by downloading it and logging in with their established credentials. The legacy Sky X service remains functional during the transition period until the migration finishes.

The application operates across multiple device categories. Supported hardware includes smart TVs, dedicated streaming devices, smartphones, tablets, and game consoles, alongside desktop access via PC and Mac. Core software features include individual user profiles, personalized recommendations, a watchlist utility, and an integrated search function.

Content Lineup Featuring Sports and Entertainment

Live sports coverage remains a cornerstone of the platform through Sky Sport. Subscribers retain access to broadcast rights for the UEFA Champions League, the Admiral Bundesliga, the Premier League, NFL and NBA.

Entertainment releases accompany the sports schedule. The platform scheduled the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Film for October 2, followed by the debut of the Sky Original series War, starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller, on October 5. RTL also announced plans to launch a combined subscription bundle featuring both RTL+ and Wow Series & Films later this year, with specific dates and package details scheduled for release in the coming weeks.
