The 3×3.EXE PREMIER 2026 global professional 3×3 basketball league has finalized its field of 96 teams for the upcoming season playoffs, bringing together top clubs from Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Vietnam for a championship showdown in Osaka, Japan. The final tournament takes place on October 3 and October 4 at Grangreen Osaka Roat Heart Square Umeda, concluding a five-month regular season that ran from April through September.

Global Field Set Across Five Nations

Organizers announced that the 2026 postseason will feature a combined 72 men’s teams and 24 women’s teams representing five countries in the Xebio Group-backed competition. The participating lineup reflects the top-performing clubs from each domestic circuit following months of league fixtures.

Japan’s domestic competition leads the regional representation with 15 men’s teams advancing out of 36 entries, alongside three women’s teams out of 12 participants. Australia qualified three men’s sides from 12 entries and one women’s team from six clubs. Thailand sends two men’s teams from 12 entries and one women’s team from six entries. New Zealand contributes one men’s team from six entries, while Vietnam is represented by one men’s team from its pool of six clubs.

The tournament operates under the sanction of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and holds official recognition from the Japan Basketball Association alongside regional bodies including Precision Movement, the Basketball Sport Association of Thailand, and Champions League Basketball (CLB3X3), with support from the Australian Embassy.

Tournament organizers structured the two-day competition schedule to separate preliminary rounds from the decisive medal matches:

  • Day 1 (October 3): Preliminary qualifying tournaments and group stage matches.
  • Day 2 (October 4): Completion of group stage play followed by the knockout final tournament to crown the season champions.

Broadcast and Streaming Coverage

Fans unable to attend the venue in Osaka can access live broadcasts and streaming coverage through multiple platforms. Sports television network J SPORTS has scheduled dedicated coverage, including an on-demand live broadcast of the final tournament on Sunday, October 4, from 15:30 to 21:00 Japan Standard Time (JST) covering the men’s semifinals and final alongside the women’s final. A subsequent television broadcast will air on J SPORTS 1 and BS broadcasting on Saturday, October 10, from 21:30 to 23:00 JST.

J SPORTS announcer Kazuki Omae will handle play-by-play commentary, with 3STORM.EXE team owner Shohei Nakama providing analysis for the network’s broadcasts.
