RSV School Students Win 53 Medals in District Sports, 38 Advance to State

Student-athletes at RSV Higher Secondary School in Bikaner secured 27 gold medals, 12 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals across multiple disciplines during the district-level school sports competitions held from September 20 to September 26.

The education department-organized tournaments saw strong participation from the institution, resulting in 38 students earning selection for upcoming state-level competitions. Vinay Kumar Bishnoi, the school’s sports in-charge, confirmed the roster of qualifiers who will represent the Bikaner district across various age brackets.

Under-14 State Qualifiers

Competitors advancing in the under-14 division span sports. Table tennis qualifiers include Mitakshi Sharma, Rishabh Jakhar, Piyush, Vinayak Bishnoi, and Tanvi Verma. Football selections feature Krish, Piyush Delu, and Tejas. Roller skating will see representation from Harshit Janagal and Sumit, while Shakti Singh advanced in lawn tennis, and Sourav Parihar qualified in rifle shooting. Anshuman secured a spot in basketball, alongside Kanav Bhadu and Aditya Sen in swimming.

Under-17 State Qualifiers

The 17-and-under age bracket features state-level representation across sports. Table tennis players Jay Malhotra and Usha earned selection alongside roller skating qualifiers Karan Chaudhary and Hemant Acharya. Archery competitors Aman Suthar and Prachi advanced, as did basketball players Aarti Jangid and Ritesh Kumar. Additional qualifiers include Chaitali Royal in taekwondo, Garvita Gupta in badminton, Lakshya Kumar Sharma in lawn tennis, and Ghanshyam Bhakar alongside Shreyansh Mishra in hockey.

Under-19 State Qualifiers

Senior-division selections in the under-19 category cover sports. Garvit Bishnoi qualified in karate, while Aarchi Gupta and Ayushi Chaudhary advanced in lawn tennis. Roller skating selections include Asvi Amal and Yash Yadav, alongside table tennis qualifier Unnati Singh. Pradeep Chaudhary qualified in boxing, Tamanna Rathore and Danny Godara advanced in taekwondo, and Rajat Legha secured a spot in basketball.

Administration Commends Training Infrastructure

School CEO Aditya Swami and Principal Ravindra Bhatnagar congratulated the qualifiers and their families, wishing the students success at the state level and encouraging them to maintain strong sportsmanship. Administrators noted that the qualifying athletes train through the school’s complimentary sports academy program.
