Jille and Wassink Exit European Badminton Championships in Huelva Quarterfinals

The campaign for Dutch mixed doubles pair Debora Jille and Brian Wassink has reach to an conclude at the European Badminton Championships 2026 in Huelva, Spain. After a strong run to the final eight, the duo was eliminated in the quarterfinals by England’s Callum Hemming and Estelle van Leeuwen.

The results in the singles category were equally sobering for the Netherlands. Noah Haase was eliminated in the opening round of the men’s singles event. Haase struggled to find a rhythm against Poland’s Dominik Kwinta, ultimately losing the match 21-12, 21-13.
