We now know Issy-les-Moulineaux in Dallas, where the Baby-Foot Club shook the world number ones, in Tbilisi, where Maxime Pauty climbed onto the podium of the World Fencing Championships, in Genoa, Vancouver, Cairo or Fukuoka, World Cup stages where the Issy Musketeers shone. Issy was also invited to Prague, Cologne, Palma de Mallorca, Turin, Orléans, Miramas, Nantes, Challans, Saulxures-sur-Moselotte, Calais and everywhere in France, carried by its dancers, triathletes, archers, table tennis players, athletes, tennis players, bad players and even table footballers.
The performances were remarkable: French champion titles, national records, podiums and European titles, world finals… But beyond the distinctions, these athletes tell a story: that of a city with dynamic, educational clubs, capable of nurturing talents from a very young age and supporting them to the top.
From arrows to artistic gymnastics figures, from victorious jumps in athletics to intense exchanges on the badminton courts, Issy reveals herself to others through performance. And this season once again, it is committed sportsmen and women, supported by their clubs and their coaches, who have made the city shine well beyond its borders. One thing is certain: thanks to its sports ambassadors, Issy is now a city that we know… and that we respect on the sports fields.
