Cairone & Bugo Win Judo Gold – Turin 2024

Martina Cairone, athlete of Asd San Mamolo, obtained the first gold of the season together with Laura Bugo, during the competition at Palamaggiore in Leinì, Turin. The pair showed a good performance in this first test, marking a promising start to their judo journey. The event represented an important opportunity for local judoka to compete in view of the next seasonal competitions.

At Palamaggiore in Leinì (Turin), a winning seasonal debut for the couple formed by the gymnast Martina Cairone and Laura Bugo (ASD San Mamolo). The event is the Italia Kata trophy judo ‘Memorial Sugiyama’, a well-attended event which saw 99 couples take to the tatami, competing in the various categories of Judo Kata, with the Emilia-Romagna women winning in A1 – Ju No Kata.
