For four days, January 15 to 18Nîmes becomes the world capital of archery. The Parnassus hosts one of the biggest events in the discipline, bringing together the best archers on the planet in an atmosphere mixing very high level sport and spectacle. This year, it is the 28th edition of the competition organized by the Arc club of Nîmeswhich has, over the years, established itself as an international reference.
More than 1200 archers from 45 nationalities
The event attracts the world elite in Olympic shootingboth in recurve bow and compound bow. Each year, more than 1200 archers from 45 nationalitiescoming from five continents, find themselves on the Nîmes shooting ranges. From January 15 to 18, Nîmes confirms its status as a world stronghold of archery, by hosting a major sporting event where precision, tension and spectacle combine in each volley.
