End of 2025 indeed with the fireworks at the home of the Cantù Youth Project. Thanks to the Uniweb Under14 boys who won the 28th Memorial Andrea Zanatta, a prestigious national tournament which saw 16 of the best Italian teams on the pitch on the Venetian lagoon from 27 to 30 December.
The demonstration
The Cantù training directed by a coach Matteo Bonassi he really swept the field by completing an amazing run of five victories. In fact, the Cantù U14s beat Città Futura Roma on their debut, then Benetton Treviso and then Pallacanestro Trieste and then won the winning poker by defeating GranTorino in the semi-final. A success that opened the doors of the final played yesterday on the prestigious parquet of the PalaTaliercio where Uniweb was able to tame the hosts Reyer Venezia in a sprint at the end of a beautiful and hard-fought final against Venezia. Coach Bonassi’s boys thus lowered the pokerissimo and deservedly raised the 28th Zanatta Memorial.
