Chelsea Sack Maresca | Premier League News

Enzo Maresca is no longer the coach of Premier League club Chelsea. The reigning Conference League winner and Club World Champion announced this on New Year’s Day. The 45-year-old Enzo Maresca has worked at Stamford Bridge since the summer of 2024. The club is in fifth place this season. Chelsea failed to win their last three league games.

“These successes remain an important part of the club’s recent history, and we thank him for his contribution,” said the club’s statement. “With important goals still to be achieved in four competitions, including qualification for the Champions League, Enzo and Chelsea FC are convinced that a change of coach offers the best chance of getting the season back on the road to success.”
