The duel for the 2026 Supercopa Rei is being defined. With the Copa do Brasil title, won this Sunday, over Vasco, at Maracanã, Corinthians will face Flamengo in the tournament that pits the champion of the knockout tournament against the champion of the 2025 Brasileirão.
The 2026 Super Cup is scheduled to be played on January 24th. The location is not yet defined. The Arena da Amazônia, in Manaus, the Estádio Mané Garrincha, in Brasília and Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador, applied to host the 2026 edition of the competition. The choice decision is made by the CBF. The favorite to host the match is the Mané Garrincha Stadium.
The Super Cup returned to the Brazilian football calendar recently. The tournament was first called Supercopa do Brasil and was renamed Supercopa Rei after Pelé’s death, in December 2022. Current champions, Flamengo will defend the title. Corinthans, champion in 1991, will look for two.
