Mads Mikkelsen: From Actor to Federer & Content Writer

Federer (44) won Wimbledon eight times and was at the top of the world tennis rankings for almost six years. He ended his successful career in 2022.

In his new film “Therapy for Vikings,” Mikkelsen plays a mentally challenged man who believes he is John Lennon. The work by director Anders Thomas Jensen will be released in German cinemas on December 25th. Nikolaj Lie Kaas plays another role. Jensen, Mikkelsen and Kaas have already worked together in the cult film “Danish Delicatessen”.

When asked which of the four Beatles he would like to be, Mikkelsen answered the German Press Agency dpa: “Ringo Starr. First of all, he’s still alive. And he doesn’t have any gray hair. And he wisely stayed out of that political and religious stuff in the sixties and seventies. He just played the drums and had a good life with it. I like him.”
