It is for these comments made in a documentary dedicated to the former international rugby player, Christophe Dominici, broadcast on the L’Équipe channel in 2023 that Max Guazzini, former emblematic president of Stade Français, appeared this Tuesday before the 6th criminal chamber of the Lyon court. He was sued for defamation by a man, absent from the hearing, Samir Ben Romdhane, a businessman exiled in the United Arab Emirates, whose name remains sadly associated with the death of the international rugby player, which occurred in November 2020.
