December 11, 2025.- Oaxaca will host the disciplines of baseball, association football, taekwondo and beach volleyball in the regional stage of the Conade 2026 National Olympiad, one of the most relevant amateur sporting events in the country; reported the Sports Institute of the State of Oaxaca (Indeporte).
During a working meeting held with the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (Conade) and representatives of region V of the National Olympiad; The agency reviewed progress in organization, planning, technical direction and judging, proposals and designation of venues, regional call, among others.
In this framework, it was also defined that Tlaxcala will host athletics, baseball 5, basketball, boxing and volleyball; Veracruz, chess, tennis and table tennis; handball town; Gentleman of weightlifting. Meanwhile, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) will be in charge of 3×3 basketball and softball.
Region V of the National Olympiad is made up of the states of Hidalgo, Oaxaca, Puebla, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, as well as the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
