The two great men’s tennis players in the world, Jannik Sinner (Italy) and Carlos Alcaras (Spain), will clash in front of Korean fans.

Hyundai Card announced in a press release on the 3rd that it will hold ‘Hyundai Card Super Match 14 Jannik Sinner VS Carlos Alcaraz’ at Inspire Resort Arena in Incheon on January 10th next year.

‘Hyundai Card Super Match’ is a global sports event that has been called the ‘match of the century’ for the past 20 years as the world’s top sports stars face each other. This 14th tournament is attracting the attention of fans around the world as it is a rivalry match between the world’s No. 1 and 2 men’s tennis players in Korea.

This is both Sinner and Alcaras’ first visit to Korea. Sinner said, “I have long heard of Korean fans’ passionate love for tennis. I am very excited to play in Korea.” Alcaras also said, “I’m excited to visit Korea for the first time. I want to meet the fans who give me their warm support in person.”

The two players are evaluated as the next generation of players who have led the generational change since the ‘big three era of tennis’ represented by Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer. After 2024, the two have consistently maintained first and second place in the world rankings and are evaluated as having opened the ‘Alcaras-Sinner era’.

In particular, the 5-set battle between the two players in the Roland Garros final held in June last year is called ‘the most dramatic final in history.’ To date, Alcaras is ahead with 10 wins and 5 losses, and Alcaras is relatively strong on hard courts and Sinner on grass courts.

Sinner, who became the first Italian player to be ranked No. 1 in the world, entered No. 1 for the first time in 2024 and stayed at the top for 65 consecutive weeks, defeating Alcaras in the 2025 Wimbledon finals to win the championship. Alcaras is a Spanish star who became the youngest player to become world No. 1 at the age of 19 in 2022, and proved to be the strongest player on the hard court by defeating Sinner at the 2025 Roland Garros and this year’s US Open.

The host of this match is Hyundai Card, the organizers are Sema Sports Marketing and Korea Tennis Association, and the co-host partners are HM Group and Jeil Construction. The game will be broadcast live on tvN and TVING.

Tickets for ‘Hyundai Card Super Match 14 Carlos Alcaraz VS Jannic Sinner’ can be reserved through Interpark. Pre-sale for Hyundai Card members will begin at noon on the 18th and general reservations will begin at noon on the 19th.
