The competition was carried out in coordination with the Association “Friends forever” and brought together the following casts: Friends Friends Forest (Arequipa), Association Heart and Pure Fiber (Arequipa), Ladies Team (Lima), Club Pablo Zabala – Ladies Category (Cusco) and Rowing Dreams (Ayaviri, Puno).
The first places were obtained by the delegations of Cusco, in the Ladies category, and Arequipa, in the Men’s category.
During the awards ceremony, held at the Sports Palace of the district of José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, the Manager of Development and Social Inclusion said that the sport shows that all barriers can be overcome when the State, civil society and the private sector work together.
In turn, the president of the Association “Friends forever” thanked the support of the regional government and stressed the positive impact of these events on the self -esteem and integral health of people with disabilities.
