Santo Domingo.- The La Javilla League was proclaimed champion in the U-8 Municipal Tournament “Doña Norma Díaz” Copa Seaboard, organized by Abeprosado.
The representatives of the Javilla imposed themselves in the final on Susano Baseball Academy with Pizarra 7 by 5 in a match marked by emotions, where you loved squads set up a great show and level of competitiveness for all present.
The Child Jesus Espinal de la Javilla turned out to be the most valuable player of the final for his outstanding performance by beating 2-2, with homer and double, in addition to pushing three races and scoring two laps.
The champions achieved their pass to the last instance by beating the disciples 8 by 2, where Matías Santana was the one who led the offensive of his team by connecting a triple and double producing three races and scoring twice to be elected the MVP.
While in the second semifinal the little ones of Susano Baseball Academy exceeded 12 by 2 to the stars of the friars with the bat of Dylan Reyna that hit 3-2, with three sent to the plate and be chosen as the most valuable.
Pimentel congratulate champions
The leader Cristian Pimentel president of the organizing entity, congratulated the champions of the La Javilla League, as well as runners -up of Susano Baseball Academy, also to the other sets that operated in the tournament.
Pimentel took the opportunity to thank the support of Seaboard “Clean Energy”, Gatorade, to the State’s economic dining rooms, Marcu’s by Digna Restaurant and the Dominican Baseball Federation (Fedobe).
