“I’m just out of my life”: Rebekka Haase (294) runs “eleven-eleven” over 100 meters, Lisa-Marie Kwayie (183) 23.24 seconds over twice the distance.

Finally start running: In Regensburg the German athletes present themselves on the district sports facility – with fiber optic connection from kindergarten, strong times and admonitions to reason.

WIt is difficult for young people to remain reasonable in times of distance and the many restrictions. In any case, runner Alina Reh didn’t hold anything when she wanted to crown her seemingly endless training rounds with a really good competition at the Sparkassen-Gala in Regensburg. Having arrived from the Kienbaum training camp, she started the 5000 meter race with more than a dozen men on Saturday evening, even though a wasp stung her foot shortly before departure.

However, the violent allergic reaction with swelling and hardening just on the outside of the right sole of the foot stopped the 23-year-old athlete trying to finish her first race at this distance in less than 15 minutes. After a good nine minutes and 3000 meters she sank into the grass with tears in her eyes and asked first: “Can I run again tomorrow?” Of course.
