The initiative, supported by both regional and state funds, underscores the role of sports as a vital educational and inclusive tool, reinforcing youth participation and community cohesion.
Regional Councilor for Sport, Marina Chiarelli, emphasized the dual benefits of these projects: “The funded projects are an opportunity for young people, but also a way to strengthen ties between territories and promote more united communities. Sport is the first educational form to prevent social isolation by promoting values such as loyalty and balance. We will continue to support all our communities by enhancing projects that aim to bring young people closer to sports that create social and not just economic dividends.”
This initiative not only aims to engage young people in sports but also to foster a sense of unity and shared purpose across communities. By investing in sports, the Piedmont Region is nurturing the next generation of athletes and citizens, committed to values that transcend the playing field.
