Violent clashes take place between supporters and the police in the streets of Naples, a few hours before the knockout stages of the Champions League between the Neapolitan club and Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to local journalists, scuffles took place between the supporters of the two camps, but also between the supporters and the police, who received the order to charge to disperse the crowd. A police car was set on fire and two men (unidentified) were allegedly stabbed.
As a reminder, the Neapolitan authorities had prohibited the sale of the 2,700 tickets to supporters residing in Frankfurt, for fear of public disorder, following the history of German supporters.
