The “Martin Luther King” Comprehensive Institute of Caltanissetta led by Prof. Daniela Rizzotto, participated on 01 March 2023 in the Student Championships in the Provincial Men’s Basketball Cadet Category Tournament (2009/2010), organized in Caltanissetta at the Scientific High School ” A.Volta”, winning both First and Second Place with the two selected teams. The first-placed team with four wins out of four was made up of students Alessi Valerio, Dennis Parello, Giordano Salvatore and Ameth Lo Papa next month will go to the regional phase of the category, the second-placed team with two wins out of four was made up of Timo Nicolò, Progno Mattia, Sardella Mattia and Gallo Flavio. To underline the excellent performances of Progno, Alessi and Lo Papa which bode well both for this year’s regional competitions and for the next few years. Professors Maria Teresa Cordova and Claudio Piccini who selected and accompanied the students to this event say they are very satisfied with the goals achieved but above all with the commitment, passion and correctness that their students have shown.
