A 27-year-old man was beaten up last Sunday in front of the town hall of La Bâtie-Montgascon (Isère). He had made an appointment with his attacker as part of a transaction concerning the luxury watch he had put up for sale on the Bon Coin site, says The Dauphine Libere. The owner of the Rolex and its buyer had agreed on a price.
The young man, who was parting with the watch to finance his marriage, had come with his father. When he presented the object to his interlocutor, the latter grabbed the box and fled. He ran after him, managed to catch him and the two men started to fight. An accomplice of the buyer then burst in.
He hit the salesman with a baseball bat under the encouragement of the thief. When the victim’s father arrived at the scene of the attack, the two suspects had fled. Hospitalized in Bourgoin-Jallieu (Isère) and released the next day, the victim received a five-day ITT. She suffers in particular from a double fracture of the open nose and a cranial traumatism.
