Increase in the number of licensees at the Archers des 3 Rivières

The archery club is doing well. It recorded a 131% increase in the number of licensees. It also benefits from an important structure for training.

It was in the wedding hall and in the presence of the mayor, Jean-Jacques Thomas, that Stéphane Bizeau presided over the general assembly of the club of the “Archers of the 3 rivers”. He stated : 2022 is a good season for the club, whether in terms of staff, with 29 members, results with 9 archers having participated in competitions up to the French championship. »

And to continue: “One of the missions of a club is to promote its discipline, to allow as many people as possible to discover the sport and to allow all its members to progress. »

There are 29 licensees, an increase of 131% compared to the 2021 season, license renewal is 66%.

Indoor training takes place from September to May: Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

No increase in dues

The club has a qualified trainer, Julien Godin, and a referee, Jean-Claude Vabre. The Michel Carpentier room has a 2 x 10 m shooting wall in Stramit which can be supplemented by a mobile wall of 3.6 m with foam targets. It allows archers to train at distances of 18 and 25 meters.

The ground is accessible for licensees all year round from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., except during school terms during the lunch break and during school holidays during the opening hours of the leisure reception. Since September 2021, a course-training takes place on Saturday mornings, even in winter. This equipment is provided free of charge and is maintained by the two municipalities of Buire and Hirson. The training-course area has been installed with 5 targets. Practices take place on Saturday mornings. It remains to install the outdoor shelter.

Membership fees for this club remain the same for the 2021 season.

During the meeting of the presidents, the regional committee presented the medals of the regional nature championship which took place in Aisonville in March:

Benjamin Gold Medal: Ethan Bizeau; minimal gold medal: Stanislas Aubert; senior bronze medal 2: Stéphane Bizeau.

Beursault : senior bronze medal 1: Julien Godin.

Best regional performance for the 2022 nature shooting season and best regional performance for the 2023 3D shooting season: Stanislas Aubert.
