Rafael Nadal: The tennis star became a dad for the first time

In June 2022, Rafael Nadal (36) confirmed at a press conference in Mallorca that he and his wife Xisca Perelló (34) are expecting a child: “If everything goes well, I will be a father. I don’t usually talk about my private life. We tend to live quietly and unobtrusively. I don’t expect it to change my life much.”

Now the baby is here, as the Real Madrid football club, of which Nadal is an honorary member, announced on Twitter on October 8: “Congratulations to our dear honorary member Rafael Nadal and María Perelló on the birth of their first child. We are so happy for them Wait, congratulations!” Nadal himself did not speak up about the birth – which underpins his statement that he does not like to talk about his private life.

Nadal and his wife have been going through life together for 17 years, and they married in Mallorca in 2019.
