Bolo, angry with the first part: “It was very bad in terms of play and intensity”

Jon Pérez Bolo didn’t put a damper on Oviedo’s bad game in Burgos. The draw (0-0) does not sweeten a clash in which the Blues were worse than the rival, especially in a first half that angered the coach.

First half.

“The first part was very bad and we have to take the point as good. It’s not what we wanted. It was very, very, very bad in play, intensity, second plays… either you match its intensity or whatever happens happens. They deserved the goal. We were dominated.”

Improvement.

“In the second half we were better, we played more in the opposite field. The game could have opted for either side”

The changes.

“We wanted to have the ball in the opposite field and give freshness, in addition to containing Burgos inside. And give more air with Mier. With the ball, he helped in the center. There were phases in which we got quite close and they squeezed us in strategy and lateral balls. We have to watch the first part again because we can’t go out with that intensity”.

Without ball.

Football was missing because we didn’t have the ball. We rushed, we played long and they have strong players in the dispute. They squeezed us and we didn’t know how to defend ourselves with the ball”.

The defense.

“The positive thing is that we leave the door to zero. You secure a point. We have to have more game and not rush. When it’s time to suffer, we have to be together and today we did it. In the second half we had more ball and we put dangerous crosses. The penalty is wasting 45 minutes.
