Hwasun-gun hosts national high school badminton competition

From the 12th to the 19th… 110 teams from middle and high schools participated

[뉴스스텝] Hwasun-gun will hold the ‘Hwasun National High School Badminton Championship (middle/high school)’ at the indoor gymnasium of the Hanium Culture and Sports Center for 8 days from the 12th to the 19th.

This competition, which is held following the elementary school competition last month, is expected to compete fiercely with 110 teams from middle and high school students from across the country.

Competitions are held in team and individual competitions. The individual competition is divided into men’s and women’s singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles.

The military is planning to provide hand sanitizer at the entrance and thorough disinfection of the stadium in accordance with the COVID-19 resurgence.

The military said it will focus on individual quarantine and safety, such as requiring leaders, athletes, and parents to participate in the competition after confirming the negative self-diagnosis kit.

An official from Hwasun-gun said, “We will do our best to check the stadium facilities and quarantine so that we can fully demonstrate our accumulated skills through this tournament.”
