Badminton does not miss its annual appointment during the Almería Fair, from August 19 to 27. The discipline also has its own tournament for the patron saint festivities, which will honor the Virgen del Mar, with the intention of bringing together athletes interested in this sport to make them live orA unique day where you can enjoy at the touch of a steering wheel.
With the organization of the Mercapinturas municipal sports school and the Municipal Sports Board, the José Antonio Segura Pavilion (Araceli neighborhood) will host this tournament in individual and doubles modalities on August 20, from 9:30 a.m..
Las categories that are allowed to participate in this edition during the Almeria fair will be, in individual modality, pre-youngest, youngest, young, infant, cadet, juvenile, absolute A, B and C. While in doubles, youngsters, cadet, absolute A and B will participate.
The school will distribute prizes to the individual champions and runners-up and for the winning pair of doubles. In addition, medals will be awarded for singles semifinalists and doubles finalists.
Registrations are made writing to [email protected], until Wednesday, August 17, at 12:00 p.m. They can also be made at the Mercapinturas store.
The form must contain the name and surnames, as well as the date of birth and intention to participate in one or two modalities (in case of having the doubles pair, specify it, otherwise it will be the organization that pairs the doubles). Regardless of whether you want to play in one or two modes, the registration cost will be the same: for lower categories (2015 a 2003) it will be 5 euros; y for absolute categories (2002 or earlier), from 10 euros. No registrations or payments will be accepted at the facility.
