New judo courses for children and young people
Langenfeld After the summer holidays, the Langenfeld Judo Club will start two new judo beginner courses for children and young people.
(og) On Thursday, August 11th, the beginner’s course for children from 6 to 8 years begins. It takes place from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. with trainer Jutta Dettke in the judo hall. The course for children and young people from 8 to 12 years begins on Tuesday, August 16 at 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the judo hall with trainer Max Stämpfli. It is suitable for newcomers, returnees or anyone who wants to try a new sport. Children and young people who want to take part in the training only need jogging suits at the beginning, so that they can get a taste of the new sport during the first training session without any problems.
Judo is varied and not only demands the whole body, but also the mind. A sense of movement, a sense of balance and muscles develop during training, but important social aspects such as self-discipline, fairness, respect and concentration are also encouraged. Judo means learning or perfecting techniques, fighting without hurting the other (without kicks and punches), but above all finding friends, having fun and experiencing community. Ricarda Schugner advertises that judo gives security and strength, makes you self-confident and protects you from injuries in the event of a fall.
