Huston Lowell Street (Austin, August 2, 1983) is an American baseball player who plays pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels in Major League Baseball.
Huston Lowell Street was chosen by the Oakland Athletics with the 40th overall pick in the Major League Baseball Draft in 2004. He made his MLB debut on April 6, 2005 with the Athletics, against the Texas Rangers.
In his career he won the Rookie of the Year award in 2005, closing the season with 23 saves and an ERA of 1.72.
He is currently playing with the San Diego Padres where in 2012 he will take $ 7,500,000 and in 2013 he will have a raise of $ 9,000,000.
With the national baseball team of the United States of America he played in the 2003 Pan American Games where the USA won the silver medal, and the 2006 World Baseball Classic.[1]
