Several positives of covid-19 in the Catalan box force the FEB to look for a new date for the match
New setback for Alter Enersun Al-Qázeres. Although the Cáceres team, due to several positive cases of coronavirus in their squad, already saw the match that should have played at home against Azkoitia postponed this past weekend, Jesús Sánchez’s squad will not be able to go out to the competitive scene this next Sunday in Badalona to pay a visit to Joventut. The Spanish Basketball Federation has postponed this league match, although this time due to the positives of covid-19 that the Catalan team presents.
As long as the teams in the category can regain some normality, the next appointment set on the calendar for Al-Qázeres will be on January 22, when Extremadura will host Celta at the Multiusos (6:00 p.m.). Meanwhile, the postponed matches against Azkoitia and Joventut are still at the expense of a new date.
Jesús Sánchez’s team will face this challenge against the Galician team after more than a month without competing, since the last official match was played on December 21 at the Zamora field (67-65).
With a record of five victories and 12 defeats, Al-Qázeres conserves two mattress matches with respect to the relegation places.
