Parents who have lost a child and all who feel connected to them can hang a small heart on a large wooden heart at Dorpshuis De Klink in Koudum on Sunday 12 December. For that reason, World Lights Day Súdwesthoeke has opted for a shape with hearts, which generated so many warm reactions and participation in the past year.
At De Klink village hall in Koudum on Sunday 12 December there will be a large wooden heart, with the word ‘Wereldlichtjesdag’ on it. A name can be written on the small heart that can be placed on it or, for example, a personal text or image. The organizers of World Lights Day Súdwesthoeke: “A heart full of hearts tells about lack, but also about solidarity. In addition, everyone can light a candle that evening.”
The hearts can be picked up free of charge from 1 to 11 December at addresses in the region.
