Davis Cup> Sinner humiliates Isner, Italy wins against the United States

While John Isner was responsible for keeping the United States alive in his encounter against Italy after the defeat of Reilly Opelka, the Greensboro giant has completely liquefied in the face of a Jannik Sinner in “killer” mode.

For the first time in his career, Isner scored less than four games in a game for a dead loss in just an hour of play: 6–2, 6–0. Impeccable from start to finish thanks in particular to noisy tifosi, Sinner therefore brings the second point to his country, synonymous with victory.

Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli, lined up in doubles, will still have to do the job against the Sock / Ram pair in order to heal the important set difference for the rest of the competition.
