Former Major League Baseball player Julio Lugo died this Monday, November 15 at the age of 45, the Dominican played for 12 seasons in the Majors, with different teams.

He was promoted to the Major Leagues at the age of 24 with the Houston Astros in 2000, with whom he was for four seasons. He then went to the Tampa Bay Rays, where he was from the 2003-2006 season, when he became part of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

For the year 2007 he arrived at the Boston Red Sox, where he was crowned champion of the World Series, a team with which he was for three years and then went on to the St. Louis Cardinals. His last seasons were in Baltimore in 2010 and Atlanta Braves in 2011.
