During the meeting against Alavés this Saturday evening (1-1, La Liga Matchday 12), FC Barcelona’s interim coach Sergi Barjuan had decided to align the Argentinian Sergio Agüero at the forefront of the attack of his 4-3-3. Unfortunately, the former Manchester City center-forward could not finish the meeting because of chest pain and had to be replaced by Philippe Coutinho before the break (41st). And Barça took no risk with his recruit.
As explained by the Spanish media such as Sports world, the 33-year-old player left the stadium by ambulance to be transferred to the hospital to undergo some examinations following his “slight tachycardia” as written SPORT. MD simply adds that this is the protocol for this type of injury.
