EA Sports presented the changes in Volta, the street football section, and announced the arrival of an Arcade mode.
After announcing the changes and additions in the gameplay, Ultimate Team, Career Mode and Pro Clubs, EA Sports released the details of the new version of Volta for FIFA 22, video game that will be released on October 1st for everyone and him September 27th for those who purchase the Ultimate edition. Among the most prominent is an Arcade section, where you can play soccer-tennis with friends.
FOOTBALL – TENNIS IN FIFA 22 ROUND MODE
To give users more chances to have fun online and not just think about winning within competitive modes, EA Sports proposes a very interesting addition in Volta to FIFA 22: games arcade, where the player can meet friends to hang out and meet different objectives, always with the skills proposed by the mode. There will be eight Party Games available at launch and more options after it.
DODGEBALL
Form teams of two and dodge, duck, dive and dodge your way to victory. Earn points for punching your friends and enemies with soccer balls. The first team to score 15 points wins.
TENNIS FOOTBALL
Volley, toss and swing the ball back and forth in style in this 2v2 game mode. Test your accuracy and fool your opponents with fancy balloons, or prepare your teammate for a surprise headbutt. Just don’t let the ball hit the ground twice or you will lose the point. The first team to score 10 points wins this Match.
LAVA DISC
Dribble on white tiles on the ground to claim them and score points. Each player starts in the middle of a square field. White tiles will appear on the field. Players have to run to step on them and claim them as their own. Once all the tiles are claimed, a new set of white tiles will appear. Whoever has claimed the most chips when the time expires wins.
FAST ATTACK
Mark as fast as you can on the highlighted targets. Each player starts in the middle of a goal ring. After a few moments, one to four goals will light up. Score on one of these objectives as fast as you can to earn as many points as possible. The player with the most points at the end of eight rounds wins.
REMOVAL OF MARKS ON WALL
Do you remember playing wall ball in the schoolyard? Welcome to Wall Ball Elimination! On your turn, indicated by a circular timer appearing under your feet, kick the ball off the wall as fast as you can to avoid elimination. If your turn timer underfoot expires, you’re out! Points are scored according to the order of elimination. The player with the most points after three rounds wins.
KEEPAWAY
Stay in possession, beat your opponents with Skill Moves and collect trophies to earn points for your team and take control of the field in a 2v2 game. Take control of the entire field or most of the field when it’s over time to win each round. The best of three rounds wins.
OBJECTIVES
Hit as many moving targets as you can to score points. There are three types of objectives with three different values: rings (the fewest number of points), large player cuts and gold cuts for a player (the most points). Get as many points as you can before the time runs out to win.
SCRAMBLE CORNER
Fight for loose balls and deposit them in your corner goal to score points. In each “round”, one to four balls will appear in the middle of the field. Run to collect those balls and score as many as you can on your assigned goal. The player who has collected the most balls wins when the time is up.
