Barcelona, June 12, LETA. Latvian basketball player Rolands Šmits scored five points on Friday in the decisive, third game of the Spanish Premier League (ACB) semi-final, entering the final together with the “Barcelona” team.
Barcelona beat Tenerife’s Lenovo at 89:72 (23:21, 23:18, 22:11, 21:22) at home and won 2-1 in a series of up to two wins.
The finals will be a Spanish basketball classic, as the Barcelona players will face Madrid’s “Real”. The final series will also lead to two victories of one team.
Schmidt played 18 minutes and 21 seconds on Friday, broadcasting two two-point shots and one of two free throws in the basket. He also won one rebound, intercepted one ball, broke the rules twice, provoked one note and scored five efficiency points.
