The French daily explains that Rudi Garcia is on the list of potential successors to Carlo Ancelotti at Everton. Contacts have reportedly been established between the two parties and those close to the former Lyon coach find the track “credible”. However, optimism is not de rigueur in view of the important competition in this file. If, however, Rudi Garcia were to coach Everton, it would be the 57-year-old’s second overseas experience, after AS Roma between 2013 and 2016.
If contacts are well and truly established between Rudi Garcia and Everton, there is no indication that the former Lyon coach will be on the Toffees bench next season.
