England’s right-back competition is tight, is Trippier afraid?

Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier prepares to face tough competition in the England national team. The right full back post is abundant in the Three Lions squad.

Trippier shines with Atletico. He just presented the Spanish League title.

With Los Cholconeros, Trippier played 35 times in all competitions. He contributed 6 assists.

In the England squad, there are several top-class right-backs. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James, and Kyle Walker are examples.

Nevertheless, Trippier believes he can be Gareth Southgate’s choice.

“It (the competition) is fierce. There are a lot of right-backs. I was left out in the Nations League and it’s about coming back,” Trippier said. PA.

“Life is about challenges, but we have tough competition. But, I just have to do the best I can for my club, try and show my best performance every week.”

“But I had competition even when I was at Tottenham with Walks for a few years and England too.”

Trippier has collected as many as 26 caps for the England national team. He contributed one goal for the Three Lions team.

At Euro 2020, England will occupy Group D. They will compete with Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic for a ticket to the semifinals.

Before competing at Euro 2020, England will undergo two test matches. Austria and Romania will be the opponents of England.
