The Rebel Archers team is growing ever larger: from regional triumphs to projects in the Amiata area

SANTA FIORA – The Asd Arcieri Ribelli continues to bring home good results, the small association made up of about ten members who with their commitment and passion for archery. The last Tuscan championship race in Arezzo was important, which in addition to the two first places in the cadets Vanessa Uberti and Lorenzo Leoni and a third place in the historical category with Fabio Vanni, also collected what was sown in 2019: the athletes who participated were awarded at the 2019 Tuscan Regional Championship, the award ceremony did not take place last year due to the limitations imposed for Covid19. Important confirmations therefore came from Lorenzo Leoni, first, Alessandro Pegollo, second, and Cristiano Fazzi, third, for the cadet longbow; first place for Lorenzo Bani in the recurvo cadets; respectively second and third Lucia Durazzi and Sabrina Meloni in the longbow woman while for. men Massimiliano Pegollo conquered the second step of the podium.

Furthermore, the ASD this year has been chosen as the organizer for the headquarters of the courses for National Federal technicians FIDASC (Coni and IAA) and as usual will organize the Tuscan Regional Championship race in Santa Fiora, as well as organizing mini lessons of archery and tests to make this discipline known and appreciated to tourists who visit the Amiata municipality and to sportsmen who want to try their hand at bow and arrow.
The ASD Arcieri Ribelli is also committed to the construction of a shooting range in order to offer an additional service to local tourist organizations and structures as well as a valid structure for their training.
