Them Badminton Klub, a badminton club in the Danish town of Them near Silkeborg, administers its roughly 80 members across about six teams through the Holdsport platform, using it for everything from sign-ups and payments to team communication and attendance tracking, Holdsport reported.
The club offers training for juniors and adults, social teams, tournament squads, internal competitions and open trial sessions for new members. Its volunteer coaches focus on technique, game understanding, injury prevention and team spirit, according to the club’s own site, thembk.dk.
What Holdsport Handles for the Club
The modules the club uses, per Holdsport, are membership administration, a payment module, team communication, attendance registration and a website. For members, that means faster sign-ups, a clearer overview of payments and easy access to team information. Coaches can message changes to training times, register attendance and follow participation statistics, while the board gets a consolidated view of membership fees and rosters.
The club’s website describes the atmosphere as informal and inclusive, with offerings for beginners, intermediate and experienced players, all held in local halls with modern court facilities. The smaller membership base, thembk.dk notes, often means quicker integration for new members and more playing time on teams.
Why the Club Chose the Platform
In a statement carried by Holdsport, the club said the platform has made everyday administration far easier: sign-ups, payments and communication work simply, freeing up time to focus on badminton and community. The club’s own site puts it similarly — the system saves time on administration for both the board and coaches.
For prospective players, the digital platform makes it easy to find relevant teams and information about trial training, and the club invites anyone interested to get in touch through its Holdsport page.
Location and Community
Them, postal code 8653, sits close to Silkeborg amid scenic surroundings with easy access to local facilities, according to the club. The combination of engaged coaches, flexible training options and efficient administration through Holdsport creates what thembk.dk describes as a safe, well-organized environment for members of all ages.
