Microsoft adds Escape Academy 2, Thronefall, Warhammer Survivors to Game Pass Nov 2024—Xbox Wire

Microsoft has rolled out the first wave of November 2026 additions to Xbox Game Pass, headlined by day-one launches of Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School, Warhammer Survivors and the strategy title Thronefall, the company announced Nov. 3, Xbox Wire reported. The lineup spans puzzle adventures, kingdom defense and bullet-heaven action, with new arrivals scheduled across the month for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass and Essential tiers, Gematsu reported.

Two titles were already available at announcement: Football Manager 27 for PC and the co-op horror game Pit of Goblin, both accessible to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, according to Xbox Wire. Chinese gaming outlet 17173 likewise listed both among the immediately playable additions.

Day-One Launches Anchor the November Schedule

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School joins Nov. 5 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, billed by Xbox Wire as the first open-world escape room game, with online and local two-player co-op. Warhammer Survivors, an officially licensed bullet-heaven action game from Auroch Digital in partnership with Vampire Survivors developer poncle, arrives Nov. 10 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, featuring Warhammer champions and factions rendered in animated pixel art. Thronefall, a minimalist strategy game where players build a kingdom by day and defend it at night, joins Nov. 11 across Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. Football Manager 27 Console also lands Nov. 10 as a day-one title for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, 17173 confirmed.

Other scheduled additions include Firefighting Simulator: Ignite and the MySims Cozy Bundle on Nov. 5, Tanuki: Pon’s Summer on Nov. 10, The City of Hope on Nov. 11, a co-op zombie survival game listed as 毒液突击队 on Nov. 12, and Aphelion plus PAW Patrol: Dino World on Nov. 17, per Xbox Wire and Gematsu.

Premium, Essential and Perks Round Out the Wave

Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors and VOID/BREAKER launched Nov. 4, with the former newly added to Game Pass Premium while also available to Ultimate and PC Game Pass users, Xbox Wire reported. Aphelion, a sci-fi adventure from Don’t Nod developed with the European Space Agency, is now on Game Pass Premium alongside Ultimate and PC Game Pass, 17173 noted.

Game Pass Essential receives a batch of retro and family titles on Nov. 15, including Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Banjo-Tooie, Gears of War: Judgment, Halo: Spartan Assault, Perfect Dark Zero, both Viva Piñata games and Gravhounds in preview, according to Xbox Wire. Perks for subscribers include an ad-free Microsoft Sudoku with double XP on Nov. 10, a League of Legends ARAM Mayhem season themed around K/DA, True Damage, Heartsteel and Pentakill, a new Valorant agent Hush available through Game Pass benefits, and a The First Descendant Legacy Bundle on Nov. 17, 17173 reported.

Thirteen Titles Leave Game Pass on Nov. 15

Subscribers have until Nov. 15 to play 13 departing games before they exit the library, including 1000xResist, Barbie Horse Trails, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Firefighting Simulator – The Squad, GoldenEye 007, Total Chaos and Winter Burrow, Xbox Wire listed. The company advised players to purchase titles they want to keep before that date.

What Comes Next for Game Pass Subscribers

The November wave is only the first of the month; Xbox Wire teased further additions, directing subscribers to follow the official @XboxGamePass account for the next announcements. With day-one releases spread from Nov. 4 through Nov. 17 and Essential-tier additions on Nov. 15, players can choose between cracking open-world escape rooms, holding the line in Thronefall, or mowing down hordes in Warhammer Survivors.
