Radio SRF 3 and the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG) will stage their annual charity fundraising campaign, “Gib es Härz,” from December 14 to December 19, 2026, partnering with Glückskette to support vulnerable children and young people across Switzerland.
Broadcasting Live From Europaplatz in Lucerne
The six-day charity event will anchor itself on the Europaplatz in Lucerne, positioned directly beside the KKL culture and convention center. Radio SRF 3 producers announced that live broadcasts will run daily from 15:00 to 23:00 local time (CET). Alongside the on-air programming, organizers have scheduled a nightly series of public music performances.
Concerts held on the public square are free to attend, though organizers encourage audience donations on-site. Proceeds from the 2026 campaign target children and teenagers facing severe psychological stress, violence, bullying, discrimination, or unstable family environments, channeling funds into safe spaces and reliable support programs throughout the country.

The live music schedule features a mix of established Swiss acts and designated “SRF 3 Best Talent” recipients. Opening night on Monday, December 14, starts at 16:00 with Steff La Cheffe, followed by Amaya Gloor at 18:00 and Jamila at 20:00.

Hosting Team and Public Participation
A rotating roster of Radio SRF 3 anchors will manage the daily broadcasts from the Lucerne mobile studio. The presenting team includes Mario Torriani, Judith Wernli, Anna Zöllig, Jenni Herren, Jasmin Barbiero, Céline Werdelis, and Michel Birri.
Beyond attending the Lucerne broadcasts, residents can organize independent fundraising initiatives—such as neighborhood sales or community events—and submit their projects directly through the network’s official campaign portal to feed into the final fundraising total.
