Senago Opens Bidding for Carlo Tosi Baseball Field Concession

The Municipality of Senago has launched a public selection to award a five-year concession for the management of the Carlo Tosi baseball field, a municipal sports facility located on via per Cesate in the town northwest of Milan, the local government announced.

The concession, granted under Article 6 of Legislative Decree 38/2021, covers the management, operation and ordinary maintenance of the facility for five years from the signing of the agreement, Comune di Senago reported. The selection is open to amateur sports clubs, sports associations and sports promotion bodies that meet the requirements set out in the public notice, including at least five years of proven experience in baseball.

Five-year term covers full facility upkeep

Under the terms of the notice, the winning operator will take on day-to-day management of the Carlo Tosi field along with routine maintenance, a structure the municipality says is designed to ensure continuity of the facility over a full five-year cycle. The concession runs from the date the convention is signed, giving the selected organization a long planning horizon for programming and upkeep.

Senago, a comune in the Metropolitan City of Milan in Italy’s Lombardy region, published the notice on its institutional website, where the full announcement and all annexes are available for download.

Experience requirement filters applicants

Not every local sports group will qualify. The notice requires applicants to demonstrate at least five years of experience in baseball activity, a threshold that Comune di Senago set to ensure the facility lands with an operator capable of running the diamond and its supporting programs.

Eligible entities include sports clubs and amateur sports associations as well as sports promotion bodies, provided they meet all the requirements listed in the public notice.

November deadlines govern the application process

Organizations interested in bidding face a tight sequence of deadlines in November 2026. The first checkpoint comes on Nov. 13, the last day to request a site visit to the facility by contacting the municipal Sports Service at 02 99083239.

Questions and requests for clarification must be sent by 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 16 to [email protected]. The final deadline is 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, when applications, complete with all required documentation, must be submitted exclusively via certified email (PEC) to [email protected].

Where to find the full documentation

The complete public notice and all related attachments are posted on the Municipality of Senago’s institutional website at www.comune.senago.mi.it. The municipality urges interested parties to consult the full notice to review all requirements, conditions and participation procedures before applying.

With the application window closing at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 20, 2026, eligible baseball organizations have until that deadline to submit their proposals through the certified email channel.
