Livinhac-Cransac Badminton officially launched its new children’s badminton school during a gathering of club members and local officials in the Aveyron department, establishing a unified sports entity across the towns of Cransac-les-Thermes and Livinhac-le-Haut.

Two Municipalities Unite for Local Badminton Growth

The newly formed club brings together the communities of Cransac-les-Thermes and Livinhac-le-Haut under a single banner, utilizing gymnasiums in both towns to expand playing options for members. Leaders from both municipalities attended the official inauguration event, including Laurence Wenczeck, mayor of Livinhac-le-Haut, and Bernard Canac, mayor of Cransac-les-Thermes.

Organizers welcomed dozens of licensed players to mark the launch. The initiative relies on a team of volunteers who coordinate facility access and training schedules across the two municipal gymnasiums, giving participants the flexibility to choose their preferred playing venue.

Launch Youth Badminton School in Livinhac-Le-Haut

At the center of the new club’s mission is the opening of a dedicated badminton school for children aged 7 to 15. Qualified coaches lead the youth sessions, which take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the gymnasium in Livinhac-le-Haut.

Adult training and open play sessions are scheduled across multiple days—including Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday—across facilities in both Cransac-les-Thermes and Livinhac-le-Haut. Seasonal membership fees are set at 80 euros for children and 110 euros for adults.

Prospective members can contact club organizers Xavier at 06 66 27 86 60 or Lyonell at 06 29 64 75 33 for registration details and complete venue timetables.
