Bill Belichick, the North Carolina head football coach who won six Super Bowls with the New England

Bill Belichick, the North Carolina head football coach who won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, and Jordon Hudson, a former cheerleader nearly 48 years his junior, have ended their romantic relationship about a year after going public as a couple, TV Report reported.

The split was first reported late last month, and Page Six reported on Feb. 2 that Belichick sharply deflected questions about it at a press conference. He said he keeps personal matters and relationships to himself and asked the reporter whether they worked for a gossip outlet. The romantic relationship is over, TV Report said, but Hudson is still reportedly helping Belichick with his work.

Belichick Declines to Discuss the Breakup

At the Feb. 2 press conference, Belichick declined to answer a question about the split, telling the reporter he would keep his personal life and relationships private, Page Six reported. He also questioned whether the reporter belonged to a gossip outlet. Neither Belichick nor Hudson has publicly confirmed the breakup in their own words, according to the reports.

From Meeting on a Plane to a New York Red Carpet

The couple first met in February 2021 on a plane, TV Report said. They went public as a couple in December 2024, appearing together on the red carpet at the American Museum of Natural History gala in New York. At the time, an associate told TV Report that Belichick did not care about the age difference and that Hudson was mature for her age, adding that “to them, age is just a number.”

The age gap — Belichick was born in 1952, Hudson in 2000 — made the relationship a consistent topic of attention once they went public.

Hudson Intervened During a CBS Interview

In April of last year, Hudson cut in during a CBS “Sunday Morning” interview in which Belichick was promoting his memoir, “The Art of Winning: Lessons Learned from a Lifetime in Football.” When host Tony Dokoupil asked how the two met, Hudson said, “We’re not going to talk about that.” Belichick later defended her, saying the question about their private life had not been agreed to in advance and that Hudson “was just doing her job” in keeping the interview on track, TV Report said.

Marriage and a Prenup Were Reportedly Discussed

In February of last year, reports emerged that the two had seriously discussed marriage, TV Report said. An associate described marriage as “entirely possible” but added that a prenuptial agreement would be essential if they wed. Those reports were never confirmed by either Belichick or Hudson.

Since the split, Hudson has reportedly been linked romantically with other men in the press, though none of those reports has been confirmed.

Hudson Reportedly Still Assisting Belichick

Despite the end of the relationship, Hudson is still helping Belichick with his work, TV Report said.

Questions Readers Are Asking

TV Report described it as 48 years — Belichick was born in 1952 and Hudson in 2000.

Reports in February 2025 said they had seriously discussed marriage and that a prenup would be required, but no engagement or marriage was ever confirmed.
