Indonesian national team footballer Asnawi Mangkualam and actress Yuriska Patricia married on Sunday, November 1, 2026, with an akad nikah ceremony held at the Hotel JS Luwansa in Jakarta, according to reports by Wolipop and Kompas.

Kompas reported that the groom presented a dowry consisting of 70 grams of precious metals alongside a cash sum of Rp 1.011.026. Erick Thohir attended the ceremony as a witness, as noted by MOST 1058.

Erick Thohir, who serves as the General Chairman of PSSI and Minister of Youth and Sports, acted as a witness for the marriage contract procession between Asnawi Mangkualam Bahar and actress Yuriska Patricia, while sharing moments of the solemnization through Instagram Story.

Yuriska Patricia Wore White Kebaya and Beskap with Batik

The couple wore traditional white wedding attire for the solemnization rites, featuring a detailed kebaya and coordinating beskap alongside classic brown batik fabrics, as detailed by Kompas. Yuriska Patricia’s white kebaya incorporated intricate embroidery and beadwork paired with a transparent ethnic-patterned train trailing to the floor.

Joko Widodo and National Team Players Attend the Reception

CNN Indonesia reported that the evening reception on November 1 brought together prominent figures, including former Indonesian president Joko Widodo and various national team players. National team athletes such as Pratama Arhan, Witan Sulaeman, and Persija Jakarta captain Rizky Ridho joined the celebration as groomsmen, according to coverage by MOST 1058. The wedding reception also featured the attendance of national team players including Nadeo Argwinata, Rio Fahmi, Muhammad Ferarri, Dony Tri Pamungkas, Fajar Faturachman, and Rayhan Hannan, as Shin Tae-yong expressed happiness over reuniting with his former national team charges.

Tribunjakarta reported that coach Shin Tae-yong sparked lighthearted speculation during the reception by repeatedly gesturing the signature thumb-and-forefinger “Sajete” greeting of Persija Jakarta supporters toward Dewa United midfielder Egy Maulana Vikri. Egy laughed off the playful prompts from the coaching staff and Persija players, including Rizky Ridho, choosing to respond with a two-thumbs gesture instead, according to CNN Indonesia.

The playful interaction drew laughter from nearby national team players Pratama Arhan, Muhammad Ferarri, Dony Tri Pamungkas, and Rizky Ridho. During the festivities, Shin also directed a thumbs-down gesture toward Rizky Ridho while informing PSSI Deputy Chairman Zainudin Amali about the defender’s recent decline in performance.
