Young archer Alessia Grasso and the Gli Archi del Grande Falco club will represent Tuscany at the Trofeo CONI Fitarco national finals, scheduled for Oct. 5 at the TH Ostuni Resort in Ostuni, tenews.it reported. The tournament brings together regional youth archery squads from across Italy in the Under-14 men’s and women’s Olympic bow divisions.
Grasso’s selection for the national finals marks her third appearance at the Trofeo CONI, a milestone highlighted by Gli Archi del Grande Falco as a reflection of her ongoing athletic development and preparation.
Regional Teams Gather in Ostuni for Under-14 National Final
Regional representatives from nearly the entire country will travel to Puglia for the competition, with delegations arriving from every Italian region except Bolzano, Valle d’Aosta, and Molise. The Italian Archery Federation (FITARCO) and the Puglia Regional Committee are organizing the event to host the country’s rising archery talents in front of visiting coaches, families, and team staff.
Competition rules require each four-athlete team to shoot 60 arrows at a distance of 18 meters. Final standings for the regional squads will be determined by adding together the highest scores achieved by all four members of each respective regional roster.

Archery Scores Feed Into the Overall Trofeo CONI Standings
Beyond individual and team performances within the archery discipline, the results from the Ostuni tournament feed directly into the broader Trofeo CONI general classification. Points are allocated to each region based on their final placements across all participating sports federations.
The overarching Trofeo CONI title is ultimately awarded to the region that accumulates the highest combined point total across every sport featured in the multi-discipline youth games. The gathering serves both as a direct championship for developing archers and as a key contributor to Italy’s nationwide regional sports standings.
