Nuscore 2.0 update introduces multi-device match sheet entry

Version 2.0 of nuScore, the electronic match sheet, is now available, adding multi-device input capabilities. The software update, announced during the nuScore training sessions at the start of the season, allows home and visiting teams to manage match records simultaneously from separate devices without altering the initial login process.

Match Opening and Captain Access Procedures

Team captains will continue to access the electronic match sheet using the established match code method. The home team captain opens the fixture by clicking or tapping the assigned code on their device, just as in previous seasons. However, version 2.0 introduces a direct invitation feature once the file is active. The home captain can now invite the opposing team captain to collaborate on the record in real-time.

QR Code Scanning and Remote Data Entry

The visiting team captain can scan a dedicated QR code directly from the host device or use a text link provided underneath the code to access the match sheet on their own hardware. Both methods require an active internet connection. Once connected, the visiting captain can input data and confirm the final result using their personal match PIN on their own screen. A second QR code is available to authorize additional personnel to enter match data concurrently.

Data Protection and Device Overwrite Risks

Guidelines strictly prohibit opening the match code independently across multiple devices. Doing so creates a risk of conflicting inputs and data overwrites. Team captains must ensure that all secondary device access occurs strictly through the official invitation link generated by the home captain. Furthermore, personal match PIN confirmations should only be entered on the primary home device or an authorized linked terminal.

Offline Storage and Update Prompts

Users who previously saved or opened match sheets locally before the system transition will encounter an automated notification window upon opening older files. Users must select the “Update durchführen” (Perform Update) button within the prompt to convert the local file into the compatible nuScore 2.0 format.
