Maresa Mößler Becomes Bavarian U15 Judo Vice-Champion

Maresa Mößler of SV Mühlhausen claimed the Bavarian U15 judo vice-championship in the under-63 kilogram category. The competition opened on the morning of October 3, 2026, with the U15 women’s weigh-in hosted by TSV Abensberg in Abensberg, Bavaria.

Bavarian Championship matches in Abensberg

After receiving a first-round bye, Mößler defeated Mira Tomin of TV Lindenberg 1858 e.V.—who finished third at the South Bavarian championship—in 38 seconds. She then overcame Ana Progri of TSV München-Großhadern v. 1926 e.V., another South Bavarian third-place finisher, in 31 seconds to advance to the final. In the title bout, wrestling through a mild cold, Mößler faced Julia Gabriel from Würzburg in a rematch of the North Bavarian championship. Gabriel, noted as 23 months older, secured the victory. The two competitors are scheduled to meet again on October 17 at the South Bavarian Championship in Heubach.

Randori beginner tournament results in Parsberg

Parallel to the older divisions, the Randori beginner district championship took place on October 4 at TV Parsberg. The event drew 37 children born between 2015 and 2020 onto the tatamis. Nine athletes from SV Mühlhausen entered the tournament, supported by the district’s judo youth association and TV Parsberg organizers. Moritz Feierle, Isabell Hauser, and Mia Walther captured division titles for the club. Paul Engelhardt, Leopold Fritsch, Mathilda Jauernig, and Ben Meier finished as district runners-up, while Anna Fritsch and Anton Hauser earned third-place finishes.
